The Brownfield redevelopment project in Sellersville Borough started in September of 2013 and has reached the final stage of completion. This one of a kind project is offered by the Bucks County Commissioners through the BCIDA and cooperative efforts with the county’s Planning Commission and Redevelopment Authority. Working together, the 44 acre site was purchased with a loan from the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority (Business in Our Sites loan program), received approval from Sellersville Borough for subdivision and land development and has been redevelopment into 6 new buildable lots complete with updated infrastructure. The completion of the project allows this once vacant and underutilized site to be put to productive use facilitating new and expanding business investments allowing job creation and retention in Bucks County.
