The Bucks County Commissioners, the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority and Solar Manufacturing recently celebrated the opening of Solar's new 59,000 square foot facility in Sellersville with a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 24th.

Jones, Solar Manufacturing owner & CEO; Thomas Hufnagle, Mayor of Sellersville; Mary Smithson, Chairman of the Bucks County IDA; and Robert G. Loughery; Chairman of the Bucks County Commissioners.
Solar is the first business to build at the Sellersville Business Campus, a first of its kind brownfield redevelopment project initiated by the Bucks County Commissioners through the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority. The 44-acre site, formerly owned by Ametek, was purchased by the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority and through a cooperative effort with the county's Planning Commission and Redevelopment Authority, the site was redeveloped and subdivided into six buildable lots to create the Sellersville Business Campus, one of a very few large industrial sites available in Upper Bucks County.
